one time i paid for a piece of software i couldn't get a hold of

Bought a license for a Japanese program before a keygen was made available. But I guess you can only use the key a certain amount of times before you've used it all up since it doesn't work anymore, and since I can't speak moon I just use the keygen now.

Ophcrack is a bit less obscure than you think. I got my highschool's network admin password that way, and now the nerds at that school pass it down through generations.

It took torrenting an 11GB extra rainbow table off pirate bay though. You should look into finding one of those, there is literally no good reason you shouldn't be able to crack an NTLM hash

When I was a kid I bought a furbies game on CD but then when I got home I opened the case and the CD fell out and broke on the floor and I cried.

Only working keygen I could find came with a virus, and I didn't know about virtual machines at the time, so I bought the cheapest laptop I could to load the keygen on.
