pic related, Logitech C920 USB webcam.
bought one this past week and cannot for the life of me get it to work on windows 10. plug and play's perfectly fine on W7 & Linux, can't seem to figure out a way for it to do anything on W10. just displays a blank black screen, tried registry fix that I found on google, since W10 anniversary update "broke" peoples webcams, but it still doesn't work.
any idea? anyone dealt with this shit? please tell me

I've used that same webcam plenty of times on a Win10 system with zero issues. Literally just plug and play.

We have about 100 of those at my work. They all work fine with Windows 10.

Not your personal tech support. In the future ask questions like this in /sqg/. I have this webcam, I installed the official drivers and it works fine. If you haven't done that, do that. If you have done that, uninstall the drivers through device manager and then try installing them again. If that still doesn't work you may have a defective unit.
P.S. Don't fuck around with the registry if you don't know what you're doing.
