Dust
>>
dust u nigger
>>
>>60031552
dust

Also, when you grow up. You'll possibly have stray pubes that will get in there and clog it up.
>>
>>60031552
a well designed case has fan openings placed in such a way that air flow is maximized.

Should've buid a water loop

What a fucking retarded argument. There will be dust, yes, UNLESS you are a civilized human who cleans your home.

just vacuum your computer
>>
It fucks your airflow. Its meant to move air in and then out. Pulling the case off makes most of this hampered. But fuck you go ahead and do it faggot
>>
>>60031552
Dumb drakeposter.
>>
Because you're going to forget to adjust your fans correctly.

Since you now have this big passive heat exchange area, you'll want to use that for exhaust and pull in fresh air from both the front and back of the case. As it stands now, your fans are probably configured for exhaust on at least one of those sides.
>>
>>60031552
rats eating the wires desu if you live in a semi-shithole
>>
>>60031552
Because it doesnt. Its designed as a pressure system with higher pressure airflow over the components to cool. It doesn't work with an open case
>>
>>60034816
these days with cases mostly beeing made out of mesh your argument is invalid.
>>
>>60031552
read me your temps ! system specs ! pronto !
>>
>>60035944
Cheap cases that cater to people who dont understand airflow like OP dont make the argument of proper airflow "invalid"
>>
>>60031552
>give me ONE (1) reason why I shouldn't permanently remove my pc case door for better cooling

Because stagnant air is not "better cooling"
>>
>>60031552
Because it gives you worse cooling
>>
>>60031552
the only correct answere on your question would be this:
if you system is running too hot there must be something wrong with it (badly mounted cpu cooler,...)
opening the casedoor is not the solution to your symptom.
it will fix the problem temporary but your system is still runing too hot when closed properly.

so the answere to your question is: because your system is faulty and you need to find the problem.

insect into fans
>>
>>60031552
because your airflow is fucked. My pc runs cooler with the door on.

Nope. This ran with the side open for 8 years.

>>
>>60036060
An open case isn't stagnant. The heat causes convective currents.
A case needs quite a bit of airflow just to equal the amount of air exchange you get with the side open. The hot air doesn't stay in there, it rises right out.

Idiots.

Actually this was pretty much silent.
>>60036359
That Dell had a monster HSF for an X2 5200+. Under that black shroud was all heat sink, with a 120mm blowing air right from the front of the case.

Why cant the side of a PC just be one massive dust filter for maximum air ventilation
