How can there be so many browsers, multimedia tools, freaking CAD programs, and not a single good eBook reader?!

iBooks is good
calibre

Just use your browser

What OS are you using? In Linux I like Lucidor. In Wangdows I just use my browser. My MacOS machine annoys me, so I've handed it off to my wife.

>ishit is good

wish calibre had a standalone reader, their whole library thing sucks and I keep my files organized as I acquire them anyways so wouldn't need that function even if it wasn't shite
Sumatrapdf on windows
Fbreader or cool reader on android
Evince or okular have epub on linux
Epub.py if you're into CLI
...
There's plenty more if you even give it a cursory look

The reader can be used without ever firing up the calibre library thing. Just choose the reader as your default application for .epub files.

>dae hate le applel maymaye?

>>60026361
I know, it just irks me that the library part is required for install

kill yourself

I have a kindle from like 2010, it works great. What's the problem?
>>60026513
you first - either stop shitposting or neck yourself, choose one.
>>60022803
sumatrapdf and ibooks are the best for just reading.
>>60026542
>says "maymay"
>accuses others of "shitposting"
mupdf is pretty nice for Linux
Very fast, lighweight, minimal, supports most of the existing ebook formats.
Has hotkeys for scaling to width (W) or height (H), for inverting colors (I) and lots of other stuff.
