Do people still pay usenet providers in 2017?
Image related is probably one of the biggest ones.

I smirked. Nobody uses usenet providers with download caps, otherwise what's the use of paying?

I didn't say they were good.
People were praising Usenet for the downloads of unauthorized copies, so I gave it a try. Couldn't find anything worthwhile (music mostly). Semi-public trackers or sometimes even public ones have more stuff.

To be honest, you need to worm yourself into private communities/indexers to get anything useful out of usenet. Scene releases are posted with encryption these days.

get a good provider that doesn't auto dmca and get a good indexer
>only time people mention usenet/nntp is for piracy
Literally the cancer that killed Usenet as a discussion platform.

setting up usenet with a decent backend for downloads is the shit!
also never heard of your usenet.nl
