No bugs, no long loading windows, boots fast

That side tray bullshit is completely pointless. It's nothing more than the Notifications and Settings menus from Gnome, lumped into one area. Budgie offers nothing over Gnome. It's just a shitty tweak of the Gnome desktop. You can easily create something better with Gnome and extensions.

I can't even install Solus on my Toshiba ChromeBook 2 for some strange/weird reason, it always outputs an error and yet I've installed Xubuntu 17.04 and Ubuntu 17.04 just fine on my ChromeBook wtf

I'm going to try installing AntergOS next desu. Also, Solus does not have nor offer server, network nor minimal installers, at least from what I know, shit distribution that should throw in the towel already

Switched from Budgie to MATE this morning because I enjoy customization.

I agree that Budgie is a better choice for a lazy person who prefers looks over functionality or wants to avoid unnecessary bloat. Looks good, works and doesn't come with too many useless applications.

Gnome is for lazy people who want their OS to look trendy and function like a fucking tablet should.

Rest of the DEs are cheap Windows rip-offs.
