Yes, you are right but I'm not a redditor so no thanks.

Will Arch give me this problem?
Why doesn't this happen in Windows? I hate Windows but when using Windows, if the laptop shut down due to battery loss, startup would be normal and things would be back to normal.
This is now the fifth time in a year I have had to reinstall the OS after various solutions such as 'fsck', 'e2fsck' etc. etc. to fix this problem.
This happens every time my laptop shuts down to battery loss after a few times (usually due to falling asleep) and after every fix, the laptop gets noticeably slower.
Will Arch give me this problem?
better to ask on the ubuntu forums, their IRC, or hell even /r/linux or /r/linux4noobs. Yes, even reddit is better for actual linux discussion or help because of /v/edditors will just spam nonsense memes.
also don't forget to file a bug report. It'll help the devs fix the bug in future releases.
how about not letting your laptop, you know, die due to lack of power?

I have no idea why it would need to reinstall after battery loss. Doesn't happen on any of my computers when power fails.

Lincucks is terrible on anything with a battery. Just has absolute shit power management.

Yes, but I'd rather not have this problem, thanks.

I've explained this already.
When my laptop (Ubuntu Gnome) shuts down when it is empty of battery, I will start it up and the screen will go to Busybox Initramfs and I'll have to fix things using 'fsck', sometimes I will do 'e2fsck' but I know you're not really meant to use that.
After fixing, the laptop will get noticeably slower to the point where if it happens a couple of times more, it will begin to become unusable and I'll have to reinstall the whole OS again with a LiveUSB.
I just want to know WHY this happens. I know how to *fix* it in a general sense but I'd rather this never happen.

How would you know? Window doesn't show any output while it's booting up.
