Could a Wireless Processor exist?
I know latency would be a problem, but for some things it doesn't matter much.
You could have a single powerful CPU that handles all your "smart" devices in your home wirelessly.

What the fuck are you talking about? A server?
Your house is full of empty walls why not fucking use them?
>>59977920
You mean a client-server network?
A terminal network?
Everything old is new again.
god what the fuck happened to routers
let me guess they want $200 for it too

802.11ac, smartphones, IoT, and a congested fucking 5GHz band happened

I have a $60 buffalo since 2010 and it probably has 9 devices connected right now, no problem.
I see all these areas of electronics getting more and more bloated as the companies try to ever increase their worth. They convince regular users they really need some shit like that

No. Just no.
>>59977999
can you stream Netflix to all 9 devices simultaneously? do you have 30+ neighboring APs competing for the same half-dozen channels?
>>59978042
I don't know, never used netflix. I imagine bandwidth would be more the problem as I only have 100mbit down. I see the argument though

>All these fucking spider routers
What happened to pfSense + Ubiquiti AP?
