Thanks to my uni I can download a windows 8.1 embedded version, do I make the switch to escape the botnet? Have in mind that I need to play my gaymen to not kill myself and that I dual boot with opensuse so I can get actual work done.

Im using 7 embedded and it's pretty sweet anon, you can customise it a lot during install to remove features you dont want and its basically a slimlined windows 7. I figure 8.1 has the same options, if you dont do any extra stuff at install it'll just be like normal windows 8.1
