After it started fucking up all my computers in December I uninstalled it. It made every windows machine in my house freeze and run like shit. If I wanted that I would have installed an actual fucking virus.

I tried to reinstall and my key doesn't work, so no I don't use it. It isn't worth the trouble fighting with customer support just to find out its still a piece of shit ever since they went to that 3.0 garbage.

I don't get the point of antivirus/spyware now a days. Shit used to be useful back on XP when everything was insecure but now you have to be really stupid to fuck up your PC these days. And if you get infected, 99% of the time these programs never completely fix everything and you end up having to do a reinstall anyway.

Nothing for someone that knows what they're doing.

In this case it's for someone that doesn't, so a normal non-admin account prevents them for installing anything shady since they have to type in a password (which they shouldn't know) instead of just clicking on "Yes" and allowing it.
