Do real programmers use pseudocode and UML when dealing with real life jobs?
Why don't you ask somewhere where there are real programmers?
>>59952417
Nope, it's completely useless once you're program has more than 5 functions because it becomes unreadable.
I don't know why they waste people's time in university teaching this.

where?
redd1t?

So how do I design my non trivial videogame?
>>59952489
You can use diagrams if you want but if you can't read code you'll never get anywhere.
Code is flat and text describes complex relationships much better than a bunch of lines

So pseudocode in google docs in better than UML?
I can code, but I've learning functional programming in college and they recommend to make an analisis of the problem, identify shit and design the code, before writing a single line.

I regularly use it to explain interaction and work flow to my team. Have never actually used class diagrams as they become unreadable in a large project.

Both are useless. You should just pick an architecture / design pattern and just "make it up as you go."
