Disallow devices that can't run stock versions of it. Customising is promoted, but if your device can't run stock versions of android your device doesn't get android.

The main branch of android is pretty good, all things considered. Just that no phones run it since every manufacturer fucks around.

Stock android should contain literally nothing and you have to manually add programs you want. Get rid of morons.

I can install any version of Windows or any Linux distro on any random mishmash of hardware imaginable. Why isn't their goal to make Android that flexible?
