Just create a usb with ubuntu. Boot it and use the live system and then:

>sudo apt-get update
>sudo apt-get install boot-repair && sudo boot-repair

The creators update is seen as an upgrade. It changes your boot sector/efi partition to install itself. It is not grub's fault.
