>Not running macOS, Windows and loonix at the same time
Explain yourself, aren't you supposed to be tech savvy?
I don't need all three at the same time, but the heart of your point is good. One ought to be perfectly comfortable with any OS.
never could run a VM that didn't feel awful to use
>>59929597
yup
>>59929597
>One ought to be perfectly comfortable with any OS
No, if you're comfortable with Windows, something is wrong with you.
>>59929584
>Its the "normie figured out how to use a VM" episode
>>59929619
Don't rabble-rouse.
>>59929619
I think he means 'able to be productive' by comfortable
No tech savvy person can be really comfortable using that shit, but Windows can definitely work for productive shit
>running macOS at any time
>>59929584
>Mac OS 10.12 on laptop
>dual boot on desktop
>Windows 7 without network access for games
>Debian 9 for work and shitposting
I think you're right.

how viable is it to use debian testing as a daily driver? is the lack of security updates true or just a meme?
>>59929826
I use Debian stretch. It's plenty stable and secure.
>>59929826
Testing is ok, id say much better than stable if you are not running a server.
Unstable is pretty much a bleeding edge version of debian, but even so it is as (if not more) stable than arch.
>he doesn't octaboot his systems
>>59929584
I could but I just limit to windows and linux mostly windows because it has its own linux subsystem to run all the tools I want but for other stuff especially more complex Gui linux stuff - just either virtualbox or dual boot.
Mac.. why - I have windows for ease of use and huge library of software and I already have either the bash or linux for unix-like tools / commands.
>>59929584
Why would I need to? I could just run Linux or FreeBSD for UNIX utilities and then virtualized Windows for anything else.
>>59929600
>never could run a VM that didn't feel awful to use
Perhaps you've never used VMware Fusion then
>>59929619
too retarded for windows? maybe drinking bleach will help you my friend
>>59929619
>Stop liking what I don't like
>>59929584
What I don't understand is why you're using the least technically advanced one to run them all on.
>>59929826
its shit, no real benefit over other distros if you go for testing.
>Unstable Distros
Fedora Rawhide
Arch Linux or variants of it
>Stable Distros for DD
Ubuntu
Fedora
Arch LTS
