What GPU are you using?
AMD GPUs have pretty good built in open source drivers (if the kernel isn't too old). Newer Nvidia GPUs don't have open source driver support, so you will HAVE to install the proprietary driver to get video (you would install it anyway since it offers a lot more performance)

You are retarded and dont know how to use shit
Linux is primarily a server OS. You have ever heard the saying "You can't polish a Turd" ?
Well you can actually polish a turd but it is still just a lump of shit, that shit is GNU/Linux desktop.

You dumb,nigga. You dumb.

What video hardware? I've never had an issue with any AMD, Nvidia, or onboard graphics. If you're using oddball hardware, you'll have issues, but it's not like Windows would be significantly better.

As the others have said, you probably have NVIdia GPU. Opensource nv drivers are shit, don't work at all in most of my experiences so you have to install the closed source ones manually. The reason for that is the way that NVidia licences them distro's can't include them in the default software, but can redistribute them though repositories. Blame NVidia if anyone, the only leg up that windows has is more stable generic drivers
