Are Cintiqs obsolete? How do you think they'll compete when

I need to get back to drawing again. Bought this neat 20 Eu drawing tablet from china half a year ago and it works perfect.

Bit small but when I zoom in on screen the size won't be a problem.

This. You only need the high pressure sensitivity for art and they sure as hell aren't going to make tablets with that feature for the 95% of people who have no use for it.

I don't know about the Samsung Tab S3, but I do know that the Apple iPad Pro has pressure sensitivity.

Samsung owns Wacom, all Samsung products with stylus since the first Galaxy Note feature pressure sensitivity.

Thinkpads with Stylus used the same tech until a few years ago, now they switched from passive to active styli but the performance actually improved, the new ones are still made by Wacom.

Apple uses their own technology which also features a tilt sensor similar to the professional Wacom tablets but their stylus has no floating cursor, it's only recognized once it senses pressure.

Microsoft uses N-Trig, I don't know much about that tho, seems to be very similar to the styli used in Samsung phones.

iPad pro for iOS. Bunch of Samsung Tabs with spen, nvidia shield for android. Any mid range windows tablet/touch laptop now come with N-trig or Wacom AES

Apple is pretty much the same, N-trig and Wacom AES are not as good but still enough for many people
