Daily reminder the master race runs bash in Windows, while the dirty plebs run wine in Linux
OwO what's this daddy
Jokes on you I'm running bash in iterm2 master race on osx
>two things that have almost nothing in common except involving the same two OSs
>U GUIZ LINOX IS GHEY
Go away.
Bad bait.

>throw things almost nothing in common
>yet the most talking about topic on /g/ is Linux vs Windows
Are you new?
>>59876244
>implying I would ever install wine for any reason
Stay pleb, pleb
>>59876244
>he doesn't know Cygwin let you run bash on Windows for years
Windows Subsystem for Linux can't even run mpv without segfaulting. Why should I use it if I have to switch back to the Windows shell to play movies, anime, and music?

wtf i hate windows even more now?!

I tried to install ruby+rails+rvm on this some days ago. Ended up aborting this plan quite quickly.
>not using MacOS

Why does this thread have replies?
I'm disappointed in you /g/

They're both shit. Kys.
>not running Windows in a virtual machine on Linux
need working networking mounting and daemons
If WSL can do anything correctly, it is the ability to run Firefox. Firefox works absolutely incredibly in the following configuration:
>use Xming
>use the Dbus fix
That's it. The only thing that doesn't work as expected is audio, which will be fixed, eventually.
It certainly blows wine out of the water when it comes to running Firefox. Abosolutely incredible.
