I think the wayland backend got abandoned as soon as it was introduced. Use the x11 backend manually to fix it.

Because mpv is running inside of xwayland and xwayland is already quite buggy. Also: Why not just use your keys? You can use your mouse to move the windows around, and you can press Q to quit.

That's wrong you retard, mpv defaults to the wayland backend on gnome/sway if you don't force it manually to x11. wayland is broken since the beginning of times so stick to x11 and be done. Your gook porn will look the same in either one.
