>Running non-free software on your wrist
Why would anyone do this? Asteroid OS exists for a reason…
Pic related. LG G Watch running Asteroid OS.

Stop shilling Asteroid OS. It's shit.
go away awoo
Asteroid is still too incompetent for daily use and you might as well use regular watch at this point.
>running software on your wrist at all
Kill yourself.

If you are a real developer and not a tech-illiterate it's actually a really fun side-project!

Who?
>>59872658
Untrue, it has many useful features that indeed work fine. However, alpha 1 is pretty bad… I recomend a latest dev build.

Uh, it's 2017??
>>59872711
What would you define as a (((re?l))) developer. Also, it's still shit every way you look at it, stop crying and just accept the fact.

Does it sync with all the usual android apps(botnet now/calendar/spotify/other apps, or is it a meme OS that has no functionality other than;
>muh Open Source
>muh custom watch faces
?

Get a real watch you meme loving fuck
>>59872790
Someone who actually knows how to, enjoys, and actually develops software and didn't come from Reddit.

It can sync any of those features, it's capable of anything you want!

>"Hey anon, where's your watch?"
>"It's upstairs charging"

It lasts over six days, I'm not ever caught with a dead watch ;)
>tfw meme addiction

Does the watch last a day on the latest dev build? Last time I tried it it used like 20 percent battery per hour. And does it have functional notifications already?
>>59874049
Latest build lasts me over 6 days with the LG G Watch (dory), and yes notifications work fairly well on v0.3 of the sync app alongside the latest dev build. Having problems with qksms but that's about it. I can't speak for how well the alpha 1 release works, never used it, I compile my builds from source.
