What? Why can't I turn it off indefinitely? If I turn it off, I want it to stay off UNTIL I DECIDE TO TURN IT BACK ON. What if I want to install a different security application like Malwarebytes and don't want two real-time scanners running at the same time taking up unnecessary CPU cycles?
I know what I want to do with my computer, you don't need to forcibly grab my hand as if I were some naive little kid walking across the street downtown, Microsoft.

This is why it turns itself back on.
If you install the latest Malwarebytes it'll automatically disable itself permanently
Source: I just did it a few days ago. Might need the Creators Update though
