You must decrypt your system drive to install every new """"""""feature update"""""""". Let's take Creator's Update for example, it reinstalls Windows 10 but keeps your files and settings and in order to do so, it must have access to your drive.

Buttlocker on the other hand gives your password to Windows 10 update and stores it somewhere, probably in the RAM or just writes it directly to your system drive when updating to Creator's Update. This essentially temporarily suspends bitlocker so that the fucko can pop a command prompt during install and get into your system drive without entering your decryption password
