>Major in Computer Science
>Now I hate Computers
what went wrong?
You studied something you weren't truly passionate about, well done
>>59813911
You didn't like computers to begin with. Should've stayed playing vidya on console
>>59813911
Odd, you should hate all CS majors.
>>59813969
More like
>i like computers, why not study them
>wow, computers could be usefull, but these retards are just using them to use "latest app here"
>computers are being used to enslave people
>hate computers
Life is painful.

I'm a big civil libertarian, pro-privacy. I work for marketing company doing data mining. Just end my life famalam.
>>59813911
>Computer Science
It's not about computers on the first place.
I wish I could go for EE.
>>59815658
you could just get another job? sounds like you've created your own problem and could easily fix it
>>59815609
You could say the same about university, books, etc., anon. It doesnt matter where you are, there will be people who will be easily swayed.
>>59815673
If you just want to monkey around with "how to use computer," why even bother with a degree? Just get a CCNA/CISSP. EE has as similarly little exposure to actual computing use cases as CS.
>>59815673
Shouldve gone to CE
now youll spend the rest of your life designing algorithms and debugging software
>>59813911
you can kill yourself at any time you want
>>59815757
>youll spend the rest of your life
Maybe, drop it all and become a railroad engineer is still a choice.
>>59815751
>If you just want to monkey around with "how to use computer,"
Nah, I wish I went to radio and circuits.
>>59813911
you turned a hobby into a job
i feel you
>>59815428
There's always gonna be people who go into a major because it's "ez money, guranteed job" so I expected computer science to be filled with them. But it's like >>59815877 said, it no longer feels like a fun hobby and feels more like a job. I spend way too much time doing things I don't want to do and don't have time to do things I want to do.
Find something you like, and push for it in academia, as long as it isn't fucking type-theory.
>>59815673
Can I redeem myself by getting a masters in engineering?
>>59816032
i dunno
