Why the fuck ganoo/linux works with packages? Its a fucking clustefuck, why isnt everything in one big file? Why does it have to be modular as an end product too? Its literally impossible to unistall stuff without hunting all the shits it installed alongside. There is not one namespace for each software
When you issue uninstalation on a program you know it will be deleted with everything it has and everything it needed to work
Pretty much all package managers keep track of what's installed# emerge -c firefox
# emerge -ca
wow, how hard
>>59809874
its not hard for some people but then when will linux companies stop advertising at user-friendly desktop OS? just be realistic and fuck off from desktops and casual users
>>59809946
It's user friendy to selected kinds of users. Retards stay out :^)
>sudo apt autoremove
>Do you want to uninstall mate-desktop?
>>59810114
This is what you get for deleting packagelist
>>59810114
>>59810169
This is what you get for using mint.
Ubuntu-mate has sane metapackages.

pacman -Rs

dubs confirm
>>59810188
I think you mean pacman -Runs
>>59810203
>pacman runs
it sure does unlike apt and that slow shit that fedora uses whatever it name is
>>59809838
>realistic and fuck off from desktops and casual users
emerge --depclean
>>59809838
>Its literally impossible to unistall stuff without hunting all the shits it installed alongside
Objectively false, and you have no idea what the word "literally" means.
>>59810311
Figuratively then?
