No and no. In fact, Windows 10 broke compatibility for about half of my games. I had to go back to 7. Windows 10 is hot garbage.

Every file is a combination of 1 and 0. You can use an algorithm to create a more or less unique alphanumeric code out of that combination. That's the hash.

So if you download a file and when you calculate the hash it isn't identical to the reference one, it's just not the same file. With OS ISOs that usually means that some fucker has introduced malware in it.
