Name a more God forsaken language. I dare you.
Oh and fuck xilinx too
I dont understand how the most straight fonward circuits can become so utterly fucked when translated into verilog.

Verilog is pretty mellow, C-syntax. The hard part is just realizing it's not really procedural, and it's literally a hardware description language. You're probably just mad because you don't know what you're doing in your digital circuits class or whatever.
None of the languages you all whine about are god forsaken. If you think you can do better, invent it. But you probably can't, because most of it is already as simple and straight forward as it can be. The real 'god forsaken' languages are the 'higher' level ones, where these 'programmers' become entirely separated from what is going on underneath.

I know what a messmodule mux2to1(input x1, x2, s, output f);
assign f = s ? x2 : x1;
endmodule

Im done my circuits lab now. The most frustrating part was setting all the parameters for the simulation in xilinx. It angered me to no end because finding 1 error took longer than designed the circuit.

Looks pretty, what language is it?

Makes sense to me anon.

This, javascript, python are cancerous. More abstraction = more cancer.
