I am an Auditor for 1 of the big 4 in the technology advisory business unit only to realize that auditing is dog shit boring. I have a degree in Information Systems.

What would be the smoothest transition to a more technical space without losing all my experiance???

Yeah, there's a guy who just joined our ITRA team from core assurance where he did ITGC shit, now he's trying to work on cyber, first doing cyber assessments, but eventually moving into other areas as he picks up more cyber experience.
