Hey peeps, I'm terrible with computers and need help.
I get this weird message multiple times out of no where, and it's happening more frequently.
When this message occurs my D drive shuts down and disappears. I then have to restart the computer for it to work again. Sometimes I have to restart multiple times.
And sometimes, when I restart, the computer won't even start. Just stays in the boot screen and I have to keep restarting till it finally boots completely.
What is happening?

It's a message from a C# .net program that crashes because it can't write a log entry to a log file.
It's an effect of the drive not working and not the cause of the drive not working.
Tighten your cables and check your hard drive disks SMART status. Your drive is probably dying.

It's a laptop, no cables.
Two years old.
So there's nothing I can do at all?

Right now you should be backing your important files from that disk up somewhere.
You can replace the hard disk / SSD with a new one and reinstall anything.
Maybe your drive isn't broken after all, I can't tell from here.

It's Razer GameCaster that crashes because it can't write to a log file. >>>/v/

I do have a razer gamecaster.
Would removing it fix the issue?

I checked all the "dying drive symptoms" thing and did system checks. Everything seems fine and my drive never makes a sound or has missing files, so I think it is fine.

You should back up your data regularly anyway. 3-2-1 and RAID IS NOT A BACKUP!
