I need more USB slots for my PC. I do have empty expansion slots

for internal card get one with molex/sata power so it has no problem with power demanding device, mine is transcend TS-PDU3

for usb hub get one with external power and detachabe usb cable, usb cables broke more asily than the hub

If you buy one with external power, do NOT buy cheap chinkshit. Buy from a reputable brand like Anker, etc. The cheap shit will backflow power into your USB ports effectively acting like a minature version of the USB killer.
