Hello lads
Do you any of you have experience using the Discord API? I want to write a shell script that displays to me new messages I haven't yet read from my server
But I can't navigate the API docs at all
How do I get a key and how can I start using it?

FYI they seem to have a bot written in GO. Just have the bot do a pipe or a curl out to whatever you need. Seems like a fun way to hack together what you need. Not seeing an API though.

Get an api key from the discord api page and then get a library that implements the API. They're all hosted on GitHub.
