Why you are not using the only sane desktop environment? Budgie

I prefer gnome default desktop. Just clean and usable.

solus is shit

Solus is pointless but I'll probably give Budgie a try once they finish porting it to QT. Using KDE right now, I like it but it's kinda buggy with Intel's iGPU.
