How can /g/ recommend Ryzen when a 6 year old 2600K can match or beat it??

This can't be real
>>59765152
so no one should buy a 7700k since its the same performance?
look at the clocks. this means a 7700k clocked at 4.7 should be right on par with the 2600k.
this chart makes no sense.

There has to be some game engine bottleneck.
I did hear rumors that every i7 are just using updated Sandy bridge cores.
>>59765485
this is not untrue.
the architectural differencies have been minor in the last couple of years for intel.. the only thing which improved is the semiconductor fabrication and focus on iGPU
>>59765152
that's from an old benchmark without windows update or bios patch
>>59765530
Gamers nexus said that was with the new Ryzen bios, windows, and game patches.
Notice the 3,466mhz DDR4
>>59765513
So the Intel Jews just kept shrinking Sandy cores?
>>59765620
No, they did not. If that were the case we wouldn't see the 25% IPC increase from Sandy Bridge to Skylake.
Building a fast processor is fucking difficult, it's not that Intel aren't trying. Try getting off of /g/ and reading up on processing architectures.
>Because Nvidia sucks at DX12 and AMD sucks at DX11
>>59765680
Well you aren't wrong...
I just wish the industry would fully embrace DX12 and Vulkan then throw a DX11 wrapper to placate Nvidias gimped hardware.

>OC 4.7 GHz
Enjoy your house fire
>>59765152
another proof those guys can't test for shit
>>59765887
A five year old game shouldn't be tested?
>gamersnexus
>gaymen
Fuck off.
>>59765152
if all you ever want to do with your computer is play metro then get a 2600k.
>>59765152
A OC part of IPC only is always going to favor les cores but its not them same with multithreaded games.
never the less i'm impressed some one could OC that 2600k that hard.
never the less you are incurring losses for your proformance gains like faster wear and tear and voltage
this 4.7GHz is easily 70C and 140W on OC at load.
at that point it would be advisable to just move on.
>>59765620
eye power lah
>>59765667
but thats the issue with that bench OP (FAG) posted.
in that bench sandy and kaby are the exact same if you account for the mhz difference.
so either gamernexus are idiots or intel is still using sandy bridge on smaller nodes.
