Is being a CompE the single most comfy job for a mathematically inclined introvert? You get a fat paycheck, get to (correctly and legally) call yourself an engineer, you have the freedom to bounce between software engineering and electrical engineering work at your whim. Yeah, at my school Software Engineers and Computer Engineers take all the same courses for the first 2 years and then SEs can take more theoretical CS/Math courses and CEs can take EE courses.
