Me: I got and use Windows 10 for free, and it's pretty stable and good. Forced updates is the only annoyance, but I disabled them with a single click by setting my connection as metered.
/g/ : reeeeee. When something is free, you're the product, fascist idiot! Check your privileges!
Me: Alright, what do you use then, and how much do you pay for it?
/g/ : Linux. It's free.

If your soul is free.

This desperate to justify being too dumb to use Linux, huh?
You are confusing gratis (free as free beer) with libre (free as freedom), a common mistake.
See https://www.gnu.org/philosophy/free-sw.html for more information on this subject.

Windows 10 Creator's Update won't force anything on me because as I said, I already fucking have updates disabled. I won't be getting this.
The only Microsoft product that gets updated on my laptop is the Windows Defender, separately through its own GUI.
