Whats the thing about controllers being so hard to work out of the box on PC?
Seriously, unless you are playing a standard xbox controller through windows 10 chances are you will face issues with mapping, joystick axis or inaccurate presses.
I'm trying to use xboxdrv to fix the mapping of my xbox360 controller through raspberry pi 3 and its a pain in the ass. I can't make the shit run on startup using systemctl enable xboxdrv.service for some reason so i have to run it each time i shove the controller in. And the best thing about it is it doesn't work anyway. And yes i blacklisted xpad.
TLDR: Why won't most controllers run well out of the box and why is this such a difficult thing to fix. Controllers seem the same everywhere in the world. Unlike keyboards

The pin outs and signal format and everything else for a console controller is strictly determined by the console developer.
There's no standard for PC. Every controller developer makes theirs a little different and then writes drivers so it can interface with OS input services. If no driver exists, then either the controller doesn't work or a 3rd party might do it.

It took me about 3 seconds to find this.
I have had no trouble using my DualShock 2 and N64 controllers on Windows 10 (or any other Windows system). Try being less retarded.
