What would be the most useful keyboard shortcut to add on a standard keyboard aside from volume keys?

A button to instantly kill a crashed full screen application without having to open the task manager first.
Furiously types Alt+Tab while inputting the RMS copypasta while is pressed down.

shortcut keys aren't useful
including volume up/down

are you serious? why not?
>>59736741
>one key tied to some particular function
or
>a piece of software that listens for a key combination you set and can perform tasks you define in response
If you're going to add more keyboard keys to do this do what some of the ricer gaming boards do: just add unlabeled "macro" keys and let the user bind them to something.

On Windows you can do this with an application called Super F4. ctrl-alt-F4 will kill whatever program has focus.
I don't know of anything that does it on Linux, but it wouldn't be hard to write a few-line script that does it and then bind a key combination to "run this script"

that's still a shortcut key you dipshit

Backspace and delete should be on the same row
