Are PC gamers commonly dumb with technology?
I remember seeing a post on a forum asking about an upgrade from a gtx 480 to a 750 ti and a bunch of replies saying that it would be a large difference in increased performance.

Yeah. The PC itself is just an appliance for most gamers especially now that you can get one up and running and play most games without having to have intimate knowledge of how the computer itself works. It's kind of like how most people driving cars don't actually know anything about them.
