No harm in waiting. The 280x will do you well until Vega comes out. It's only two months left at most. At the very least, you will find more Nvidia sales after Vega releases.

for 1080p gayming just buy RX 570

i have crossfire 290x (i got the second card dirty cheap)

it was good for a couple of years AMAZING in BF4 with mantle but CF/sli is dead i was just waiting for a single card to have equal or better power and its ether vega or ill get a cheao 1080 maybe 1080ti if i get a new monitor
