700 dollars is the most I can do. And I just want to play resident evil 7 on good settings. Doesn't have to be high or anything. I wanted a smaller laptop that is relatively comfy to use for laying on the bed watching anime, playing games and posting on 4chan

Upgrade your desktop with whatever money you have. Like this, you can play games on a mid-end pc while being able to watch anime on both your laptop and pc.

Gaymen laptos are overpriced, have shitty battery life, are heavy as fuck and have lots of non-replacable parts.

For anime in bed you're best off getting a tablet. Tablets are more likely to have a good, bright IPS screen. The Thinkpads that /g/ will recommend have shitty screens, and your animu will look like washed out garbage.

Cheap 3-in-1 laptop with an atom or something + $500 on a new mobile, GPU and ram to replace your current desktop components. Getting a laptop that can run re7 is gonna cost too much and make the thing be heavy af. You can find old (but unused)tf100s on eBay for around $120. That's enough to play hevc 10bit anime. Can also stream from steam when you're home, off your gaming desktop.
