Russia and the United States are similar in more ways than people realize. I feel this distinction is unfair since the NSA, CIA, and FBI act on a global scale. First-world powers have some measure in place to insure control of a certain kind. At least in Russia, it's done according to law. Not so in the United States. China is the worst.
