The file size limit makes it totally impractical for use today
but yes may be best for small thumb drives that are only used for small docs etc, I meant external HDD:s more since there, you need to support all those big fat media files

Yeah I wasn't quite specific enough, English is not my native language so to me "external drive" sounds more like HDD than thumb drive (the words are different in my language, I need to pay extra attention in the future)
But anyway, the file size limit is nonetheless pretty bad.

I don't use MS OS:s myself but my external hard drives need to work with other computers or they're kinda useless.
