So the reason Ryzen(and 6900k) are half as good as 7700K in this benchmark is because 7700K (4 cores CPU) runs with disabled visual effects.

What a shocking turn of events.

What turn? I've literally never seen that benchmark anywhere.
>>
>>59674176
Its simulated 1500X by making the CPU into a quadcore.

>6900k getting 47fps
You're doing something wrong.

980ti vs 1080 FE
>>
>>59674115
Brand loyalty for CPU/GPU is ridiculous, buy the best product for your needs.
>>
>>59674701
Usually its not in your long term interest. As lack of competition means lack of increase in performance for decades
>>
>>59674115
If this were a flagship AMD CPU this were happening to intel shills would be spamming it every day for a month and bumping every thread to post limit

OH INTEL SHILLS WHERE DID YOU SUDDENLY GOOOOOO?
>>
>>59674115
So Ryzen isn't a failure anymore? what should I get then? 7600k or 1600x?
>>
>>59677497
1400 then wait for Zen+ otherwise 1700
>>
>>59677497
Stretch to the 1700. It's amazing value for an 8c/16t chip and will last for a long time. The 1700X and 1800X are absolutely pointless though. Buying one of those is just making a donation to AMD.
>>
>>59674115
Well it was obvious from the start that Ryzen is good. Kinda sad still that launch was pretty whack.
>>
No. It's Nvidia's shitty drivers. I said right before launch that Nvidia would fuck up the game benchmark results. Nobody believed me.
