If you have an ether net port buy a fucking bridge to plug your machine in to.

No. The options are a vast amount of cheap and expensive USB adapters or new wifi cards.

He is probably talking about a desktop. Because practically no laptop released in the last decade comes without a Wifi card.

Or maybe a wifi card I would have to use proprietary drivers for through ndiswrapper? fucking casuals
>>59668234
no, old toshiba I use in the shop had a fucked wireless adapter, I just popped in one from a broken acer, hooked up to router via ethernet and scan for hardware changes in dm then right click and update driver for adapter.

He literally said:

Are you retarded?

Do you even read? OP has a wifi card that sucks and that's not the same as no wifi card.
One option is to find out what kind of integrated wifi card you have and how it's hooked up. Usually there is a pci-e card inside hooked up to two antennas. This pci-e card can be replaced. It has happened that I've opened someone else's laptop with this problem and sound that one or both antennas were disconnected from this card, that's an easy problem to fix. A more expensive option is to replace the pci-e wifi card inside the laptop. Even so, it's a better option than some USB stick because it will always be with your laptop and it doesn't occupy some USB port.
As for wifi adapters, if you're going to buy an external one then you should make sure it's got 811ac. That Panda adapter doesn't, so don't buy it.

laptops don't have integrated wifi cards, you can remove/change them by unscrewing one screw, while desktop motherboards can have wifi capabilities in them, therefore he is probably talking about a desktop

OP Here, this guy is right, the wifi card on my mother board doesnt play nice with Linux based OS's. I'm looking for a way around that so I can go full blown /g/tard
