This is a good thing for them. Mexico will become great with this technology, especially if it's cheap and modular. Mexican people can make their own cheap food to sell instead of corporations fucking them raw. Mexico, South America, Africa, South East Asia, etc. will become great and powerful as they control the food supply.

the real question is if these regions will adapt or perish. I'd honestly lean towards the later. Time and time again they've proven to be incompetent even with every first world nation dumping money on them by the billions.

All they have to do is not get cucked on technology prices, and they will be able to regain control of their markets instead of getting raped by corporations mining them dry. Average citizens will be able to make competitive startups instead of the big players in industry running the show.

Apple decided to produce their products in our country years ago, everyone was cherishing the news because that would mean a price drop. Nope, they blamed the government for high taxes and priced it the same as the stores were selling the iphones while one could be bought at half the price (including shipping) if you shipped it from the US or China. I mean, it makes no sense to produce your shit here if the taxes are that high, therefore there is no reason to believe Apple and the people keep buying iphones anyway.
That being said, food prices won't lower in South America with automated farming.

It means you'll have less excuses to push for immigration. With less viable job sources for minimum wage workers, you'll have less immigration problems, leading to less crime, and less first world problems related to ``tolerance''.
Of course, that won't stop refugees, but at least you'll be able to claim hardship. Why accept refugees when they won't be able to support themselves?

More and more people will be living in mega cities in the coming decades. Cities will be redesigned to accommodate such a large population, nearly every building top will be public space for people to find peace and quiet.

The majority of jobs will vanish as robotic automation will give us the leisure of free time to do as we please, to finally paint that picture or to travel abroad and see the world.

Corporations will provide us with basic housing and income to sustain a comfortable life style... it won't be fancy, but it'll be minimal but elegant. You'll sell off your car to ride in a driverless taxi to take you everywhere.

No they don't. Technology will solve their labor issues. Also, it would never work -- Japanese culture is highly collectivist and homogeneous, they know that the foreign savage would wreak havoc in their highly traditional culture. The spineless, placid Japanese male would never stand for tyrone and Muhammad like western men, and not for noble reasons either just plane old xenophobia.
>>
>>59667281
Guess so bruv, but what I meant is that you can grow it without pesticides. Having a small vertical farm with temperature controls, hydroponics and humidity sensors takes out many of the reasons they use these harsh chemicals in our foods. Might prevent your grandchildren from getting cancer.

You think Japan is still relevant in tech industry? Their most important goods are batteries, LED and steel. Literally nothing and oldies buy chink stuff and the young destroyed local phone industry with apple faggotry. So you think this is the society that can overcome with their tremendous issues. Sure...
>>
>>59667326
>And technology ultimately depends on people working on it
The people working on it is us. I believe that is why they focus on improving upon, instead of innovation because the latter requires too much risk taking and uncertainty. Japanese schooling seems to focus on what they know works. Irritation is their game. If you've ever go to japan, you'll see that they still use a lot of old technology that is highly modified. It's that ingenuity that will let them succeed in my opinion. Let the west create, and they improve that's just how its been from automobiles, transistors, to toilets. If the west ever truly focuses on things like renewable energy and automation it will be a big benefit to japan. Japan hasn't really completely invested themselves in these things because the technology isn't there yet. You can tell they will though, by how they embraced nuclear energy, to a fault as we've found out now. My point is, japan will find their salvation in technology but in the meanwhile their zombie economy and society of highly educated betas will remain.

The only reason they lost ground is because of Korea, another highly homogeneous nation even if they're full of batshit insane feminists. In a place like Japan where there is a ton of rural land you'll likely see cities turn into production centers while people move out into the rural lands to live in smaller communities or start small cities for living. If we achieve full automation the production will be centered in cities that make good use of space with tightly packed skyrises. People will move to the out sparse lands and have an easier time developing them due to automated building so people will live in luxury.

But a consequence and necessity is that population sizes will shrink as automation increases, at least at first, so resources are widely available to the population.
>>
They already use trucks that auto pick crops while some dude reads a book in the cockpit.
>>
>>59667474
Japan is putting quite a lot into renewable energy now. They have big solar farms going up all over the place, solar is on a lot of houses.
Of course, solar doesn't solve everything, you need enough production to cover load at night as well, but perhaps they can move away from the older nuclear technologies.
>>
>>59667661
Nuclear is objectively superior to solar, solar hardly ever can break even and pollutes almost as much as your average coal fired power plant
Only libcucks buy into the media hysteria that pretends that nuclear is bad mmmkay
>>
>>59667652
The "driver" still inputs the GPS data and shit to make the truck run the course.

This sounds like you'd set up the robot system to say grow lettuce in this field and it would automate planting, watering when necessary, spraying if necessary, monitor the crop growth, and harvest without any further input.
>>
>>59667579
So... Japan maybe?

Universal basic income will literally bring in a new age of genuine stupidity. When your country relies on the smart few to maintain technology and dedicate their lives to science so much so that they probably won't even have kids, the stupid will live off them and breed and breed and breed until there's a billion useless, brain-dead negroes every country that won't be able to maintain the technology built by the previous generation, that's IF they don't revolt and destroy everything because they'll blame anything bad on the intellectual minority and demand to be represented into higher positions without any merit.

Yeah, literally everything wrong with nuclear can be traced back to shitty reactors based on early Cold War designs, or made with those designs
The Fukushima reactors were from the early 70's, and their design was based on 50's reactors

For the sake of encouraging self-reliance, I'll teach you how to find the list! Give a man a fish, they say! The response is in the context of the original comment, in which there are two primary, non-ad hominem points - take a look, know what they are? - "Permavirgin" and "living with your parents until you're 40"! These can loosely be associated with reproduction and unemployment, respectively, so there's a good chance we find success by checking these first! The screenshot is obviously from Wikipedia, so we google "wikipedia unemployment rate by country". This page has a table on it, could we have found our source? No - these are the wrong numbers! Let's check our second possibility (note reproduction rate is also called fertility rate) "wikipedia fertility rate by country". This page also has a table on it, and these numbers look a lot closer to the ones in the screenshot! There's even a second table to the right of the first! Let's do a ctrl-f for Japan - 184!? 1.4!? We found it, and it only took 30 seconds! Replying-anon doesn't make much of a point with the graph, but that's a lesson for another time! Now you know!

Not really the same but a I believe it's rational progression from where we are now.

I predict the IQ lowering substantially as intelligent people breed less, societies more socialised, people immigrate from shitholes and the stupid, religious and lazy will have dozens of kids that are paid for by the state.

We can see now that the morning intelligent and wealthy and successful people have a fraction of the kids that the scum of society do.
We can see now that people advocate for open borders or at least a psuedo-open border policy because they propose zero repercussions for illegal immigrants.
We can see now that people are demanding increased socialisation, they want more money for less work and want successful and wealthy people to be punished for amassing such wealth so that money can be redistributed amongst people who couldn't comprehend that getting loans for a college degree in a field with no jobs was their fault.
We can see now a culture that champions that biggest failures of society. Everyone claps for the retard wining the race, everyone wants to invest money so brain-dead Sally can become a kinegarten teacher and the desire for young people today to be an oppressed minority...
Diversity hiring will get even worse if that's a thing. When you put incompetent people into positions of power just because of their race or sex or 'underprivileged status' then you create a chain of bad decisions. When these people are teachers, police, judges, military, politicians, marketers, "intellectuals", television producers or whatever then you'll end up with bad decisions having significant consequences. e.g. you put enough Muslims, coloureds and women in Canadian parliament and they vote to build Dossiers on "Islamaphobes".

I think we're going to enter a dark age (no pun intended)

Populations are, currently, too high. The boom generations always would be unsustainable. The shrinking population will level out to a more realistic, sustainable level.

Then there is the fact of increased automation. Automation is something that is going to happen. It is technological advancement. We don't have to worry so much about people in the future losing jobs to automation if there are just less people.

It's really not uncommon in Japan for families to actually actively take care of their elderly members rather than just leave them to the system.

Also it's not like it is even the NEETs and herbivore males that are the real problem. The size of families in general has been dropping, probably as more people move to the cities they just have smaller families.

But if the shrinking population will be prospering, it is going to shrink even faster. The only countries that are not shrinking are the ones with low education and/or poverty.

Why do people act like automated farming is a surprise or worth note?

It's been moving that direction for quite a while, most large scale farms have the animals almost entirely taken care of by machines including shit removal, feeding, etc. Some even have automated cow milking machines. The average modern harvester is essentially autonomous aswell.

Farmers sit in the air conditioned cab and just wait there while the damn things harvest their crop automatically based on GPS coordinated.

>Why do people act like automated farming is a surprise or worth note?
Because it's necessary.

People just don't want to farm anymore. The farmers are still required even if they sit in their cab drinking booze while the harvester follows the course they programmed in.

This topic is actually something I have much interest in, so I'd like to share some of my insights and opinion since I'm involved with agro-based company

Different countries needs different level of quantum leap for their agriculture industry. Contrary to what people think, african countries are no stranger to mechanization and large scale farming methods. Even fucking somalia have commercial farms with banana and cattle rearing become their major export.

Problem with african countries is fragmented farmland, climate change, weak land laws, access to cheap fertilizers and pesticides (hell even basic tools like hoes and watering pots) and, above all else, logistics

1/3 of food produced in africa went to hell simply because of logistic inefficiency and inadequate infrastructure for processing, storage and transport.

Here's the sad truth most people want to ignore.

Humanity is destroying this planet and we only have about half a century before it's too late (if we're lucky enough to make it that far).

Every aspect of our civilization will have to change dramatically or else we'll face extinction, which means cities need to change for healthier standards of living. The traditional working 9-5 life style will have to end, no more factories or dead end office jobs for us, we need to move beyond the working phase just to eat and sleep comfortably. A basic universal income is the next step even though most Joe Lunch Bucket conservatives will resist it because they can't imagine their shitty boring lives without work, they're worker drones and nothing else.

Or it will allow small farmers to become more competitive price wise within their own communities as they will be able to make their product dirt cheap if the tech is priced affordably, and unlike big companies, they don't have to deal with transportation costs across nations. They just trade in their own backyards.

The only way small farming gets fucked is if tech prices are absurd, or all the viable farmland in their area is already owned by a company.

>Why is Japan saving the west when they aren't even threatened?

Why are you unable to see potential economic advancement when you're staring it in the face?

If a robot can pick lettuce, then that frees up the worker to do another job -- one that's harder to design a robot to do.

Now, you've got two workers instead of one -- one robot and one human -- hence you get twice as much work done. Twice as much work means twice the economic output. Twice the economic output for the same number of people means an overall advancement in living standards.

And why are you unable to see that we've been down this road a hundred times, and it's always resulted in an overall improvement? I guess we could all walk to work, but driving gets us there faster, leaving us with more free time -- but for years people complained bitterly about how automobiles would destroy various industries. Yeah, those industries got destroyed -- and we ended up better in the long-term as a result.
>>

>Universal income
Yeah, like when there was the agricultural revolution in the middle age, or industrial revolution in 19th.

The fact is, even if it means you put stuffs in your butt on chaturbate to make some bucks, you'll have to work even with a technological revolution. Nobody will want to humiliate a robot, because it's pointless, and we'll always need real people to do certain things, like entertainment (put things in your butt for the pleasure of others). Better prepare your butt.

It broke something in my heart when I realized how many "humanitarian" concerns were based on economic exploitation.

Borders are just a social construct, which is why we need to invite poor Latin American workers seeking a better life into the US... to pick crops and do menial construction for $5 an hour because a local worker would want $10 to $12.

America should attract all the world's best and brightest, which is why we should have open arms to highly educated Asian immigrants to do highly technical jobs. By the way, we'll be paying them $40,000 a year instead of $100,000+ a year for a domestically educated worker.

Look at these poor, starving Africans. Don't you want to send them food? More importantly don't you want to send money to American farming conglomerates to pay them for their surplus food so they can ship it overseas and hand it out while simultaneously eradicating foreign farming competition because they can't compete with "free food"?

Taking all of a person's most altruistic, compassionate impulses and then twisting them so wretchedly to INCREASE oppression and poverty, can you imagine anything sicker than that?

>If a robot can pick lettuce, then that frees up the worker to do another job -- one that's harder to design a robot to do.

Not always. If one robot replaces 7 workers there won't necessarily be 7 other jobs for them and they will have to move somewhere else to find work.

Japan's biggest problem right now is an aging population with a declining birth rate. They need those 7 workers paying into social security, and they need those 7 workers having large families and earning living wages while staying right where they are. Even now Japan is failing at this and they are suffering from a lack of young families, large families, and immigrant labor.

Rural funding (especially for schools) is especially harmed by a declining labor pool. No young families in an agricultural area means the classroom sizes shrink until the school eventually closes. When the school is gone no new young families want to move there. The community turns into a large retirement home and when those old people die so does the town.

This is already happening without excessive automation.

The only solution is to let the robot take those 7 jobs and then give the seven people it replaced a redundant "make-work" project to keep them employed in the area. They could hold signs that say "caution: robot work area ahead" and meaningless shit like that.

Failure to do so causes a total failure of basic services and old age social security.

Shut the fuck up Michael Moore, no one buys this doomsday bullshit. Half a century, get real you fucking moron. Earth's decline will be very slow, if it all, and eventually the level of pollution we put out now will stop once the main perpetrator, the Chinese get into a position like us in the US where the cost of labor makes mass domestic manufacturing unsustainable and the level of pollution decreases. They're headed down that route.

Basic Income is a dumb fucking idea, just more socialist uptopian bullshit that will never work the way it is intended. The only saving grace of the idea is that it is in the end possibly cheaper than the current welfare system because of cutting red tape. It will collapse in on itself when we have an actual fucking labor shortage, because instead of the intended effect of people being able to become skilled workers in their freed up time due to not having to worry about needs, you either get lazy fucks who leech off of tax dollars, develop no skills, and do not rejoin the work force. Or you get dumb niggers who don't know how to manage their own newly granted finances and still stay in poverty because they are dumb niggers.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.

Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called "Linux", and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.

There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called "Linux" distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

>How did the japanese destroy the immigration meme?

A good example is the Japanese Brazilians. Their xenophobia is almost inspirational to /pol/

A large number of Japanese moved to brazil for several generations. They didn't breed with the local brown people and were still racially "pure" for the most part. They were simply ethnic Japanese living abroad.

In the 1980s the Japanese economy was hot and they encouraged them to come "home" to Japan to work. Unfortunately they were treated as jungle savages on arrival and were despised. Even kids who moved from japan to Brazil and back again were treated as filthy foreigners.

The kids in particualr were bullied out of schools and many simply stopped going. In 2005 it was foudn that 40,000 Brazilian Japanese were attending school in japan and a staggering 15,000 had dropped out. There are 36 dedicated Brazilian schools for these Japanese kids since they simply cannot survive in a normal Japanese school.

In 2009 the government created a program to deport the Japanese Brazilians back to Brazil. They are offered $3000 in airfare if they agree to leave the county and sign a waiver stating they will never seek employment in Japan ever again.

tl;dr

That is how Japanese treat their own people who leave and come back. They view the Koreans, Han Chinese, and brown races even lower.

People are scared of change and don't want it to happen even when it's change for the better.

For example, healthcare is a huge issue. The number one way to lower the cost of healthcare is to devalue it. It'll be devalued in the far distant future when robot doctors take over the job over regular doctors and today it could be devalued by making it easier for people to become doctors, like if they taught basic medicalcare in middle school and high school, simple stuff like treating wounds and identifying illnesses. It would go a long way to make doctors less special because there would be an abundance of people with many of the same skills as them.

Here's where people get scared. You might be of the opinion "BUT DOCTORS 'DESERVE' TO MAKE THE BIG BUCKS AND BE TREATED LIKE ROYALTY FOR ALL THE YEARS OF MEDICAL SCHOOL THEY WENT TO!" That is why the healthcare system is so fucked to begin with. Doctors are great people, don't get me wrong, but there should be far more doctors, it should be easier to become a doctor, and, yes, they should be making less money.

>The number one way to lower the cost of healthcare is to devalue it. It'll be devalued in the far distant future when robot doctors take over the job over regular doctors and today it could be devalued by making it easier for people to become doctors

In America only about 10% of your health care bill goes to doctors. The "system" eats up about 85% of it while nurses and support staff get the last 5%.

If your hospital visit cost $15,000 you can guarantee $10,000 of that went to men with business degress, not medical. Doctors and nurses are a very small part of it.

Imagine men in suits shaking hands with men in suits handing each other briefcases overflowing with cash. Some money spills out onto the floor and that is what goes to the doctors and nurses.

Billions in profits are going to the wrong people and that is why healthcare costs too much.
>>
>>59675046
You can shift the blame to the nameless business man all you want, but it doesn't change the fact that if doctors were devalued then the cost of healthcare would plummet.

I've wanted nothing more than for shit to calm down to be honest, but certain people keep injecting politics into anything and everything where it doesn't belong. That's the real problem here, the politicization of everything. The elections were just the vessel for all of the pent up rage to finally release.
>>
>>59675295
The consumer doesn't devalue a doctor. Hospitals and clinics set their salaries. The public perception of doctors has nothing to do with how they're paid. How they're paid is between the doctors and the establishments they work with.

The consumer needs to devalue healthcare, i.e. stop going to hospitals and clinics until prices go down. Obviously that's not going to happen. It's not going to change in the future unless people are so healthy that they refuse medical visits and treatments unless it's at a lower cost.

>Doctors are great people, don't get me wrong, but there should be far more doctors, it should be easier to become a doctor, and, yes, they should be making less money.
You can only do that by deregulating. You're not going to convince kids to go through 8-10 years of hell and then make pennies. If you want more and cheaper doctors you need to allow people to practice medicine without a medical degree. You want cheaper shit? You have to lower the barriers to entry.

>it doesn't change the fact that if doctors were devalued then the cost of healthcare would plummet

It wouldn't. The profits would just increase for the middle men and the patients wouldn't save a penny. In Capitalism the cost of a service does not affect the price of a service.

The reason a hip replacement costs $40,000 is because a group of important people sat down and decided Americans were willing to pay $40,000 for that procedure. It doesn't matter it if costs them $2000 or $6000 to perform the surgery. The end user will pay $40,000 either way.

It's like how the price for a barrel of oil drops by half but the price of gasoline doesn't change much. A product or service is sold for the the amount that the buyer is willing to pay. No more, no less.

Healthcare is the same way. If doctor salaries were cut in half the hospitals and investors would just pocket the difference because they know they how much the end user is willing to pay.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B011POK25M/

I am still learning how to effectively spread all of my mist throughout the barrel

and I get ideas from guys like this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvfCXNCXkdU

and I buy solenoids and use pvc to allow / disallow nutrients and water into the loop
I use water level sensors to kick on a solenoid to fill up my water level bucket and for every 10 seconds of it being on I add 1/8th teaspoon of 20-20-20 (NPK) Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium feed, remember plants have 12 nutrients they like those are the 3 main macro nutrients
some feeds have a lot of everything I found jack's was really good and gets down to like 25micron sizes or smaller it goes through my 25 micron screen
https://www.amazon.com/Peters-Classic-20-20-20-Purpose-Fertilizer/dp/B00BIO560G/

tomatoes like more calcium too so there is a tomato feed. remember when stuff flowers or fruits it wants a 12hour light cycle (weed has the most posts about this obviously) flowers (weed included) want potassium to bloom big however strawberries, tomatoes etc want more phosphorus
nitrogen promotes leaf growth in everything so it's a good thing to add from bat guano or fish pool too
and that's all jsut controlled by raspberry pi with a 8 port relay

the biggest issue with aeroponics I found was the grey mold as you create their perfect environment. The only real way to not have it is to never have it.. so make sure all your spores are non existent for it.. so I grow my seeds in aeroponics too and my room is clean from that I try to change clothes before I come inside my room

this pic turned out kinda bad my phone's like 3megapixel so I use this chinese go pro thing it is decent

my lights for these babies are 50 seconds on 10 seconds off (simulates clouds apparently and it saves electricity) my water sprayers are 10 seconds on 2 minutes off
let me ffmpeg this video real fast
you guys can steal the idea all my shit is from ebay, amazon & wal mart
I use an old liquid cooling water pump for these and it works well for the shitty sprayers (not misters) as they're super low pressure requiring

oh and my big system is in the previous pic but it is currently down as I just harvested a lot of tomatoes and am fixing some stuff on it to reseal it better
everything I use all together had to be less than like $300 and I get year around vegetables.. minus the light. the lights are most expensive but I will build a greenhouse this summer.
Colorado has average same days of sun as LA, california however it gets really cold and windy so I have to build a strong one with a heater maybe

I genuinely have no idea why you're not just hand watering with a setup that small. You're risking contamination using an aero setup, every time you fill and mix a watering can you're getting a clean starting point.

I've seen plenty of setups with aero/forcefed/etc get entirely fucked up by not cleaning your setup properly, unless you're actually growing tomatoes in which case why the fuck aren't you growing the devils lettuce. I admire your passion, and I Strawberry is very cute, keep it up my dude.

We need more urban growers, you should write a really simple grow-log somewhere, I love reading through these and seeing these precious little babies grow into healthy and happy plants. Make sure you're treating them nicely, be gentle and throw on their favorite music. I generally play classical.

I would use Tumblr or Wordpress or something similar for ease of use. Unfortunately it's illegal to grow you're own medicine here so I don't do the logs myself but plenty of people also do them on forums. Just posting daily photos from the same spot or doing a time lapse. Anything that shows your progress from day to day over their cycle. If you need a cheapo camera for it, go check out Gearbest's action cameras. Waterproof stuff and what not. Great for all occasions.

>They're going to start taking refugees in the near future whether they like it or not.

They already have been accepting refugees. I think in 2016 they took in 21 refugees or something like that and I don't believe the current administration is looking to bring anymore than 50 for 2017.
>>
>>59678374
There's nno reason why japan should take in refugees. WHy should a nation that had no part in creating the conditions that led to the displacement of these peoples have a responsibility to house them? If anything the US should be the ones to take refugees. They have much more space available than any Euro nation aside from Russia, and have lower cost of living than Japan or most non-shithole euro countries.

It's not about racism, it's about feasibility, it's about cost, it's about responsibility. Get back to your shithole university and consider taking a class in international relations, economics, and civil development.

Actually that shouldn't be such a surprise.

A child only wears diapers for a couple years. An elderly person could be wearing diapers for more than a decade.

So instead of "Japan's birth rate is so low that adult diapers are sold more than baby diapers", which is misleading because Japan's birth rate is not terribly low, it may be more correct that their life expectancy is so high that more people are reaching the ages where they need to use adult diapers than is considered normal in western countries.

Japan does have the longest life expectancy after all.

I went to the doctor in Taiwan when I was sick with Flu B or something

All I went to was a walk-in clinic, with a couple nurses and a doctor from Harvard or something (diploma in the waiting room). They diagnosed me for Flu B and then pushed some antivirals into my vein, and then, since we told them we were from out of the country, they gave us an entire week's pills so that we wouldn't run out.

Since we were from out of the country, we couldn't use any insurance and had to pay out of pocket. It was around $15 dollars for the visit + whatever the pills cost (I think it was around $10-15 dollars).

Whatever they're doing there, I want it in the us

We'll be living in mega cities all right. But they're going to resemble pic related.

Automation coupled with massive third world migration and lack of support for regional areas will see humans in the bottom 80% of the income bracket consigned to lives of squalor, violence and exploitation, akin to those of the serfs and peasants of the pre-industrial eras. They will work 100 hour weeks as prostitutes and novelty servants for the wealthy for food vouchers. There will be no need to travel as anywhere outside of a few centralized economic zones will just be devoid of life and either be abandoned wastelands or the nature reserves of the wealthy and powerful.

Corporations will run advertisements championing the basic housing and food services they supply us, which will be akin those given to slaves and indentured agricultural workers in ancient times. It will be minimal, but it won't be elegant.

You'll have tall tales to tell to your mutated grand kids about the time when you could afford a motor vehicle (of course, you had to drive it yourself, unlike the wealthy who now utilize driverless vehicles that are programmed to stop when they strike down road urchins because of the fear of ambush).
>>

We have less people buying houses. And prices increase every year. We just have a smaller pool of people buying a larger amount of houses.

>Wages go up

>>59670116

It means we need to stop supporting and financing massive reproduction rates in the third world.

>Japan's biggest problem right now is an aging population with a declining birth rate. They need those 7 workers paying into social security.

No. You're thinking of the U.S., Australia and Europe.

Japan's social security standards are (by the standards of a first world "western" nation) shockingly low. Their treatment of their elderly would cause much hand wringing and 60 minutes specials here. You're expected to have a family that will care for you or put aside enough to care for yourself. Which may or may not be linked to their feelings on immigrant labor.

>The only solution is to let the robot take those 7 jobs and then give the seven people it replaced a redundant "make-work" project to keep them employed in the area.

The entire motivation behind mass migration is to fill the labor ranks out with affordable laborers and to increase your tax contributions. All you have to do is turn off the migrant tap, really. Since first world birth rates are already approaching negative levels.
