Hey /g/,
I want to escape the botnet at least a bit. How can I blur my traces a bit better?
Should I use an encrypted DNS and which one? I currently have the google one because I am stupid.
Using VPN all day with main pc, laptop, mobile or even put all my router traffic over VPN?
Maybe you have other suggestions, too. Thank you in advance.

so my dns is encrypted and when I view it in wireshark all I see is QUIC protocol now and I can't see dig content anymore

is that really all that is required for my ISP not to see what I do?

I understand under https an ISP can only see the main domain name and no subdomain nor directory I browse?

how big is the nameserver database? accessing a local one is not only faster, it gives privacy too, don't expect convenience when accessing temporary websites though.
