How do I find this connector name? It's to an IBM model M 1993. I see it says J2 but can't find anything online?

Idk why it auto rotated the image. Here is pic of model
Looks like a ring terminal.
J2 is not a connector. That is a reference designator.

What are you trying to do here?

Okay I'll research it thanks. I found the keyboard basically in the trash. It had a cut power cord. Trying to find the replacement

It's just PS/2 dude. Order a new one from Unicomp. Make sure to tell them the model number on the keyboard so they give you the right one.

What's interesting is all the other models around that time period were SDL. Would the mo. Be the "52G9658"?
Semi restored

Isn't J2 the 4-pin connector? Shouldn't be too hard to replace if you have a soldering iron and can get a cable, OP.

1993 is the year they turned it over to Lexmark, who would eventually change all of them to attached cables. I'm typing this on a silver label - kind of a model M collector. The quick way to identify is silver / black / white label = IBM. Blue = Lexmark. Also yes, that's your keyboard model number.

thats a pretty nice job brah

>Isn't J2 the 4-pin connector?
Yes.
Other anon was talking bout the 'J2' on the ID label on the back of the case.
Op here. Is pckeyboard.com my only option? I don't see anyone else selling this type

It's the only option for a factory cable. The pinout is just plain old PS/2 though. You could put literally any PS/2 cable on there.
get any ps/2 cable and solder

I actually have one. I'll try it, thanks!

Can't tell from the picture but I assume black is gnd, white is data, yellow is clk, and the one without a wire should be vcc
