I'm using a Lenovo N22 Chromebook. What will have better batter life: the chrome os or gallium os?

You'll have marginally better battery life with chrome os stock. Though you can strip gallium down til has better battery life.

It seems that gallium os is a full featured Linux distro.

chrome os
>inb4 botnet
but tehn again, if your chrome os is updated after version 53, you can install android app in there

Well the average lifespan of a .400+ batter is the same as anyone else unless they get hit in the head alot

Yeah, it's xubuntu lts with some modifications. Currently using it.

Get a Toshiba ChromeBook 2015 instead.
this is now a GalliumOS general.

Gallium Ubuntu-based, bloated, slow, ugly and unoriginal.
The main reason I'm curious is because I don't want to sacrifice a bunch of battery when I mostly use it to take notes and access the web. I do most my work ssh'ed into a server anyway
