I HATE to admit it but even after ryzen's launch the 7700k still looks fucking appealing...faster in all everyday usages, everything mature and supported, hackintosh compatible, can reach 5GHz or more if delid+WC, and intel's longevity, 5GHz is achieved at 1.25volts, even lower on binned chips, while you need to burn your house to OC a ryzen CPU
I had high hopes for ryzen even before mainstream started to hear about it, but I'm dissapointed :(
This is the exact reason I refuse to "upgrade" to Ryzen. If I can't achieve 5GHz or more with it, it's worthless to me.

>7700k needs 190W @5GHz, and is still shitty in multithreaded
>ryzen 7 needs 170W @4GHz, and it destroys the 7700k in multithreaded
>b-but muh gigahurts
why don't you buy a fx-8370 if you love gigahurts then? http://www.kitguru.net/components/cpu/anton-shilov/unannounced-amd-fx-8370-nearly-breaks-worlds-clock-rate-record-at-8-7ghz/

When did I mention multithread ? Almost all everyday usage is heavily dependant on singlecore perf, and kabylake rapes zen clock per clock AND clocks way higher.
>>59611357
Do you even know what a Hz mean for a CPU ?
>faster in all everyday usages.
If you dont multitask then sure
>>59611447
>Almost all everyday usage is heavily dependant on singlecore perf
wrong
>>59611546
name one that will use more than 8threads
>>59611564
So you daily usage only use one program at one time, you either an idiot or shill
>>59610798
>aster in all everyday usages
well, since you're already starting with a lie..., sure go ahead and let us hear all about your buyers' remorse from that time when you bought a 7700k one day before Ryzen launched.

>everything mature
stopped reading there
>first gen of new cpu architecture vs already in 7th gen
damnnnn, how fast it can be
