IT'S HAPPENING
THANK YOU BASED INTEL
ONLY FOR KABY LAKE MASTER RACE, RYPOO GARBAGE NEED NOT APPLY
>same price as larger capacity ssd's, little to no performance increase over them
So what's the advantage?
>>59605174
>literally slower than standard NAND
>>59605174
I don't understand what is there so special about this. I'm still good with my dirt-cheap half TB Sandisk SilkySuperDrive that cost me only 140 eurocoins.
Please enlight me OP.
>>59605174
>tests performed against a hard drive
>less performance than shitty Intel SSDs except in low queue operation
>zero overprovisioning
>MTBF of ONE FUCKING YEAR
ok op, have fun
>>59605174
Another meme technology that won't help Intel compete with ryzen
>Endurance 100 GB/day
Rofl
So do I have to turn it off after playing a game for 3 hours?
>>59605174
oh cool
benchmark?
New meme?
>>59606227
Nah they want it to act like a swap partition and save your ram content when you put the computer to sleep.
Which is a fucking total misuse of the technology because its sequential performance is worse than even Intel's prior SSD
>Esport gamer
>Fanatic gamer
/v/ please
This might be good in a few gens when power draw lowers, sequential write improves and it doesn't cost like fucking $3 per GB while still retaining TLC V-NAND endurance!
So 3-4 years
