Are there any "VPS" providers that actually care about your security or should we just go private-owned servers?
dunno desu
heard some good stuff about mullvad (they accept btc too)
if you really want to be sure of your privacy just go with a private-owned server

How does that help? Private owned server uses internet provided by some VPS.

misread it and though he was talking about vpns, my fault :^)

I always wondered if I could use a free Azure server instance or google cloud for my own VPN.
It's easy to get free cloud computing trough BizSpark and whatnot. Even AWS is cheaper than most VPN.
Should work, no ?
Linus is always shilling TunnelBear, are they any good?
>not hosting your own server in your own basement
I use PIA, it's pretty good. Dunno about privacy though, afaik its great.
ITT: anons can't read, think a VPS is a VPN.

It's located in the USA. There is no privacy here. Also, not a VPS

>security
Do you mean privacy? Or the physical security of the machine your server is running on?
