Used to use Bit defender but it wouldn't allow me to disable it at any time nor let me restore my pc so I uninstalled and used an older version of it that I can turn off when I want to. Also used to use malwarebytes but the ui doesn't show up quickly anymore and feels slow.
all of them just to be safe

I use Hitman Pro. Cause it's the only one that can find bitcoin miners. Common sense for everything else. The miners are rather unavoidable since i really want to play the games i pirate

There's also a large gaming contingent here as well with machines dedicated for it. I imagine if things get weird they just reinstall and use antivirus to extend that inevitability.

Run your favorite linux distro as a host.
Run windows virtually with GPU passthrough for gaming.
Keep snapshots of when windows is stable, when it eventually crashes, gets virus, breaks your drivers, just reload your snapshot.
